روش احیای الکتروشیمیائی در آثار نقره و نقرۀ زراندود با استفاده از روش مکانیکی.
در آثار نقره و نقرۀ زراندود که در برگیرندۀ بیشترین اشیاء دورۀ ساسانی و پیش از آن در آثار اشکانی و ایران دورۀ سلوکی و هخامنشی اند، به دلیل شکنندگی ساختار نقره ای که بافت درونی آن از نمک های نقره تشکیل شده، شکننده و مستعد خرد شدن اند، در بیشتر موارد بهترین گزینۀ برداشتن لایه های پوشانندۀ نقوش و احیاناً خطوط و غشاء زراندود، روش الکترو شیمیائی برای بخش های محصولات نمک فلزی نقره است که عموماً سخت اند و احتمالاً ترکیبات اولیۀ سرارژیریت (کلرور نقره) را پدید می آورند، و برای حذف لایۀ ترکیبات نمک مس در آلیاژ نقره ، روش حلالیت نمک راشل قابل استفاده است.

برای برداشتن ترکیبات نمک نقره در این شیئ که از ساختار یکدست و مقاومی برخوردار است روش مکانیکی استفاده شد و علیرغم دشواری نگهداری بخش کوچک شاهد در روش های شیمیائی، نمونه های شاهد در درون و بیرون قدح به سادگی قابل بجا گذاری است .
